On Saturday, July 25th, from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Alpharetta High School students
have the opportunity to participate in SMART HEART SCANS for athletes, a program
instituted by BESTT for U.S. Inc., a non-profit company.
All tests will be reviewed by a cardiologist within 5 - 7 working days of the screening
date, depending on the total number of screenings that day. Any test that is deemed to
reveal serious abnormalities will result in parents being contacted by the cardiologist,
immediately.
The test is voluntary on the part of the students and their parents. Sign-up appointment
times are on a first-come-first basis and can be made in the school office.
Parents must sign up for a time at the AHS front office.
